AM-211是一种新型且有效的前列腺素D2受体2型拮抗剂。AM-211在变应性炎症动物模型中有活性。AM211对人、小鼠、大鼠和豚鼠DP2具有高亲和力，对其他前列腺素受体和酶具有选择性。在豚鼠药效学实验中，AM211在大鼠和狗体内表现出良好的口服生物利用度，并能剂量依赖性地抑制13,14-二氢-15-酮- pgd(2)诱导的白细胞增生。
