DPC-423是一种Xa因子抑制剂，可能用于治疗血栓形成。用DPC-423合成的肟中间体进行的体内和体外研究表明，其加合物与从服用DPC-423的大鼠胆汁中分离出来的加合物相同。这支持了醛肟作为谷胱甘肽加合物前体的中介作用。据推测，DPC-423(及其类似物)的苄胺部分被氧化为羟胺，羟胺随后转化为亚硝基中间体。随后亚硝基的重排产生醛肟，醛肟又被P450代谢为活性中间体。从DPC-423(及其类似物)形成肟被发现是由大鼠CYP 3A1/2介导的，它也负责将肟转化为谷胱甘肽可捕获的活性中间体。
