PEI Prime™️ Powder, Transfection Grade Linear Polyethylenimine
PEI线性转染试剂 #PRIME-P100-1G
产品介绍
Product Introduction:PEI Prime™️ is a high-performance transfection reagent designed for robust, low-cost and scalable transient gene expression. PEI is the most popular reagent for transient transfection of HEK293 and CHO suspension cultures. PEI Prime™️ is a choice reagent for production for recombinant proteins, antibodies and viruses (AAVs, BVs, etc.) in mammalian expression systems. PEI Prime™️ Powder is an exceptionally fine hydrochloride salt, which saves hours of handling time and minimizes risk of errors during reagent prep. PEI Prime™️ Powder can either be converted into a transfection reagent using the "Liquid Formulation" instructions below or it can be purchased as a formulated solution of PEI Prime AQ.
Feature:
➭ For DNA transfection
➭ For both adherent and suspension cells
➭ Easy operation and less time taken
➭ Stable with strict quality control
➭ Higher transfection efficiency
➭ Lower cytotoxicity
➭ Higher protein expression
PEI Prime™ Performance Data (HEK293):
PEI Prime™ is an exceptional, high-performance transfection reagent for HEK293 suspension cultures. Transient gene expression (TGE) using PEI Prime™ shows expression levels significantly higher (48%) than the leading competitor PEI.
Method:20 mL cultures containing HEK293 suspensions were transfected with a CMV-SEAP plasmid at optimized PEI/DNA ratios using either PEI Prime™ (3:1 here) or leading competitor PEI. SEAP expression levels were quantified 5 days post-transfection using phosphatase reporter dye and UV/Vis. Values are reported as percentage of leading competitor PEI.
PEI Prime™ Performance Data (CHO):
PEI Prime™ is an excellent reagent for CHO suspension cultures. Multiple SEAP reporter assays show comparable performance between PEI Prime™ and leading competitor PEI in CHO suspension systems.
Method: 20 mL cultures containing CHO suspensions were transfected with a CMV-SEAP plasmid at optimized PEI/DNA ratios using either PEI Prime™ (5:1 here) or leading competitor PEI. SEAP expression levels were quantified 5 days post-transfection using phosphatase reporter dye and UV/Vis. Values are reported as percentage of leading competitor PEI.
